Dracula Wins Over a Self-Proclaimed Dog Person

Sometimes the best adoption stories come from the most unexpected places. Dracula is a 4 month old kitten who ended up with a mom who will be the first to tell you she is not a cat person. She has always preferred dogs. But when a thoughtful friend sent her a link to Dracula's profile and she saw he was just 2 miles away, something clicked.

She picked him up on a Tuesday and from that moment, The Count (as she calls him) made himself right at home. He took a quick liking to Maya and spent the entire week sleeping next to her and giving her kisses. He is sweet, affectionate, and has a way of making you forget you ever thought you were not a cat person.

In her own words: "I much prefer a dog but although I am not a cat person, I am definitely a Dracula person." And honestly, that might be the best compliment a rescue cat has ever received.
