Margie Gets Treated Like a Queen

Margie was a 5 year old adult cat and a favorite among the shelter staff, but she was not doing well in the shelter environment. Some cats just need more than a kennel can offer, and Margie was one of them. She needed quiet, patience, and someone willing to let her come out of her shell on her own terms.

She went into a foster home with a wonderful and patient woman who gave her exactly that. It did not take long before Margie stole the heart of her foster mom and somehow managed to charm all of her coworkers over Zoom as well. That cat had presence.

Margie was officially adopted at the end of January. She now has a huge home to roam around and a devoted mom who treats her like the queen she always was. From struggling in a shelter to living her absolute best life, Margie's story is proof that the right home changes everything.
