Simba Finds His Forever Family

Simba is an 8 year old male pit bull who came into our local shelter as a stray after his previous owner passed away. His family was unable to care for him and suddenly this sweet, loyal dog found himself alone and waiting for someone to give him another chance.

Our team placed him in a foster home where he was well cared for and given the time he needed to adjust. Simba was patient and gentle through it all, never losing that trusting look in his eyes.

In late January, his forever family found him. His new mom and dad and his furry little sister fell completely in love with him from day one. The feeling was very much mutual. Simba is now enjoying a life filled with a huge yard, warm beds, and more hugs and kisses than he knows what to do with. After everything he went through, he finally has the family he deserves.
